Community Give-Back

Salon Krēˈāt participates in a number of give back opportunities within our community. Outside of our everyday energy transfers, our stylists are members of a Baltimore based group Braiders to Bosses where we host a free braid-a-thon. Understanding how important your crown is especially within the African American community, these braid-a-thons give inner city youth a change to have their hair styled completely free while giving the stylist a change to mentor them in the process.

In 2022, we plan to provide training classes to youth who are interested in entrepreneurship and business ownership. We also plan to host our first student prom. This student is required to show interest in entrepreneurship, active within the community, and meets the academic requirements to apply. Stay tuned for more information.
